The Labor Day Weekend ALL WHITE Cruise Party hosted by Lock Couture is on Saturday, September 1 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at Walsh Landing on Lake Austin Blvd and Enfield Rd.  Tickets are $60 and include your boarding pass, food, an open bar, music, and dancing.  Boarding is at 6:30 pm and dress code for this is ALL WHITE ATTIRE.  Music will be provided by DJ Bobby West and will consist of a mix of Top 40, Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, Alternative and Dance.  Visit www.allwhitepartyatx.eventbrite.com to purchase tickets.

The Second Annual Labor Day Car Show, CAR WARS, is on Saturday, September 1.  This public event is free for anyone and the entry for the Car Show will be a donation of non-perishable food items or a cash donation to the PLC Food Pantry.  There will be tons of fun activities for children as well as food vendors and a free live concert.  The event starts at 11 am and goes until 5 pm at the Promise Land Church located at 1504 East 51 St.  For more information you can email capitalcarwars@hotmail.com or visit http://www.facebook.com/capitolcarwars.

Sunday September 2, the Austin Sports and Social Club (SSC) is hosting a Summer Party Barge on Lake Travis.  The Party Barge leaves the Highland Lakes Marina in Volente on Lake Travis at 12:30 and returns at 5:00.  Tickets are $25 and include all the beer and water you can drink.  You are allowed to bring anything else with you on the barge, including food for the grill, but no glass. Transportation is available for $16 and includes round trip bus or van shuttle service with pickup at the Westgate Shopping Center in South Austin (71/290 & Westgate).  Parking at the Marina is $5 per car.    You must be 21 or older to attend this party.  Visit http://www.austinssc.com/social-events/party-barge-information to register and pay for tickets.

The Land Rover TriRock Triathlon Series comes to Austin September 3 and will include live bands along the courses.  Land Rover TriRock Austin begins at 7:00 am at Auditorium Shores located at 800 West Riverside Drive and will be followed by a post-race party and concert.   There are two distances you can enter, Sprint and Intermediate “Olympic”, in which you will swim, bike, and run.  Individuals who prefer to only race one element of the triathlon can participate on a relay team.  Relay teams will have 3 members and there will be no age groups.  Teams will compete for the fastest overall time in which each member will complete one segment of the event and either swim, run, or bike.  Visit http://trirock.competitor.com/austin/ for more information and to register online.  Participants must be 16 or older.
