How the Loan Process Works

Step 1: Pre-Qualification

Get pre-prequalified for your motgage loan to determine how much you can borrow. It is a quick, no-obligation first step. Once qualified for your loan, you will know how much you can afford.

Step 2: Consult with Candy Buzan

Consult with Candy Buzan

With Candy BuzanMortgage Services, you find the mortgage that works best for you and your family. She helps you consider many factors, including:

  • How long do you plan to keep the loan?
  • Is a fixed or adjustable rate mortgage best?
  • How many points should you pay?
  • What other costs are involved?
  • When should you lock in your rate?

Based on your needs and situation, Candy helps you decide which mortgage products are best. Throughout the entire process, Candy answers all of your questions, relying on her many years of experience in the Austin mortgage business.

Step 3: Close Your Loan and Settle

As your closing date nears, Candy and your real estate agent check your mortgage loan’s progress on a daily basis. Candy immediately informs you if there is a problem, and works with you to quickly resolve any issue that could prevent your loan from closing on schedule.

At the closing itself, everyone involved in your transaction is present, including Candy Buzan who answers any remaining questions you may have about your motgage. You sign the necessary legal documents, pay your closing costs and escrow items, and receive your closing documents.

Then, receive your key, move in and celebrate!

Remember, you should never hesitate to ask questions. Ask Candy for any information you need to ensure you understand the entire mortgage loan process.
